Our season will still operate from May to October, but there will be times we may not be able to offer availability due to our other careers. Nicole and I both work full-time careers in the Twin Cities and will go back and forth to the resort as an escape and to continue providing our services. If you did not know Nicole is a professor of Biology in Twin Cities, and I (Wade) work full-time as a paramedic.

I began Voyageurs Adventures in 1997. We have grown over the years and with help from family and employees we gained a reputation as the area’s headquarters for paddling adventures and outfitting trips. We specialize in kayaking tours, lessons, and rentals, and guided fishing trips. We strive to provide each of our guests with personalized service, top of the line equipment, and background knowledge of the area. We enjoy providing groups with the knowledge and equipment to make your own trip a possibility, or join us on a guided adventure and we will take you off the beaten path, away from any crowds, and pamper you with fine food and fun facts of the area. We aim to teach you about the area and provide you with the tools & knowledge to explore at your own pace, while you create personal experiences that will stay with you forever!

When it comes to outfitting trips in Voyageurs National Park, we are the area’s experts! Lake Kabetogama is our backyard, and since 1916 our family has a tradition of introducing visitors to the area. While some outfitters offer trips all over the country, we focus on being the best outfitter in the region. We operate on a passion for the area, and a love for what we do.
